Louis is released from jail as the officers struggled to find enough evidence. Pu, Pam, Duean, and Ngoh increasingly struggle with a heroin addiction and Ngoh is admitted into a hospital due to drug withdrawal. They attempt to get money to pay for rent and to wean off drugs by selling clothes at a market. Frank urges Ngoh to go home which she does but her father doesn’t let her in.
